Ending up yhe year: - moving towards healing in a true sense

As I have mentioned before, my life turned over in a tailspin with a cancer diagnosis in fall. I experienced surgery and had my first chemotherapy session yesterday.

The nurses and doctors were trained well, and it didn't go as badly as I would have thought. Can I obtain fitness with cancer? I went to the club tonight and worked out on the bicycle. I still could not use my pectoral muscles at all, but I exercised enough to get that glow going on.

That little bit of aerobics helped so much.

Every cell in my body is experiencing illuminating health.

Okay, I'm back in the saddle - sort of.

Well, I had a double mastectomy and oopherectomy and salpingectomy - in other words I had surgery to remove both breasts and my fallopian tubes and ovaries - all in the search to get out of cancer. Unfortunately, two of my lymph nodes were malignant. Thus chemotherapy is in my future.

So when I expected to swimming and burning the elliptical, I was working on getting out of bed. How can you get in shape if you are unable to walk a block without hurting too much the next day?

I will tell more about my path in other postings - but I am back.
